Coastal platform (Alt. ~ 1,8 m) (Up to 4,000 years old)
The Local Natural Monument of Ribeira de Anha preserves the occurrence of two coastal platforms above the current one and which were interpreted as Eemian levels (MIS5e): Platform IV (3.9-4.5 m, sapa at 4.5 m) and Platform V (2.1-2.8 m).
On these platforms, geoforms of coastal dynamics are preserved, namely notches and potholes resulting from erosion caused by the action of the sea.
